San Diego, California - May 18, 2007 - Pangea
Foundation today announced that Rockville, Maryland-based
Disabled Sports USA will use its Abilities4Mentoring
Web application to facilitate outcomes measurement
in the organization’s nation-wide mentoring programs.
Disabled Sports USA will work closely with Pangea
Foundation to expand the current Web application to
include the ability to measure recreational and rehabilitation
outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
Abilities4Mentoring has historically been used for
tracking educational and employment outcomes for youth
and adult mentoring programs. Working with Disabled
Sports USA, Pangea Foundation aims to ensure that recreational-based
mentoring programs across America will also benefit
from advanced information technologies.
Abilities4Mentoring will give Disabled Sports USA
a secure Web application for documenting program participation,
storing mentor and mentee data, measuring program outcomes,
and generating performance reports that communicate
program impact.
