Pangea Foundation Launches Software Tailored to Meet the Unique Needs of Family Resident Services Programs

Software for Service Coordinators to Standardize Outcome Measurement in Affordable Housing for Families

Nashville, Tennessee – October 8, 2006 – Pangea Foundation, a San Diego-based Application Service Provider (ASP) to nonprofits, announced the launch of a new Web application designed specifically for Service Coordinators working in affordable housing facilities for families. The Software, branded AASC Online Families, was developed in collaboration with the American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC), Enterprise™ Community Partners, and NeighborWorks® America. The goal is to replicate the remarkable success of the AASC Online Seniors Web application in the family affordable housing environment. According to Kristin Kuipers, Founder and Director of Programs of Pangea Foundation, “We are privileged to have the opportunity to do for Service Coordinators working in family affordable housing communities what we’ve been able to achieve for Service Coordinators working at senior and disabled affordable housing communities.”

Since 2004, AASC Online Seniors has been the premier real-time Web application for Service Coordinators working in senior and disabled affordable housing communities. AASC Online Seniors helps Service Coordinators working at senior and disabled properties implement, manage, and communicate the impact of a resident services program. It provides Service Coordinators all the tools they need to complete their HUD Semi-Annual Performance Report in less than five seconds with a click of a button.

With AASC Online Families, Service Coordinators working in family affordable housing communities will have the tools they need to improve service delivery. In addition, Service Coordinators will now be able to communicate program impact to management, evidence-based funders and policymakers in the areas of education, employment, housing, finances, and life skills development. AASC Online Families will also give Service Coordinators the tools they need to manage their HUD Ross and HUD FSS grants.
