This Anti-Spam Statement applies to all Pangea Foundation
Sites and Services that link to or otherwise display
this Statement (collectively, the "Services").
Pangea Foundation strictly prohibits the use of the
Services in any way associated with the transmission,
distribution, or delivery of unsolicited bulk or
unsolicited commercial email ("Spam").
This Anti-Spam Statement does not apply to those
Pangea Foundation Sites, or Sites of Pangea Foundation’s
affiliates that do not link to or otherwise display
this Statement, or that have their own Anti-Spam
statements.
You may not use any of the Pangea Foundation Services
to transmit Spam. You also may not deliver Spam or
cause Spam to be delivered to any of Pangea Foundation’s
Services or customers. Email sent, or caused to be
sent, to or through the Service may not:
- Contain or use invalid or non-existent domain
names;
- Contain or use fake headers;
- Use other kinds of deceptive addressing;
- Contain false or deceptive information in the
subject line;
- Contain false or misleading content;
- Use a third party’s Internet domain name,
or be relayed from or through a third party’s
equipment, without permission of the third party;
- Employ any technique to otherwise misrepresent,
hide or obscure any information in identifying
the point of origin or the transmission path;
- Fail to comply with additional technical standards
described below, or otherwise violate the applicable
Terms and Conditions for the Services.
Pangea Foundation prohibits the mining, phishing,
harvesting, or collection of email addresses or other
information from or through the Pangea Foundation
Services. Pangea Foundation does not allow others
to use the Pangea Foundation Services to gather,
assemble, or acquire any information about Pangea
Foundation’s visitors, users, customers, or
subscribers, including but not limited to any and
all email addresses which are Pangea Foundation’s
confidential and proprietary information. Use of
the Pangea Foundation Services is also subject to
the applicable Privacy Statement, Terms of Use (TOU),
or Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Pangea Foundation
does not permit attempts to use the Services in a
manner that may overstrain, damage, disable, or weaken
any feature of any of the Pangea Foundation Services,
or that could interfere with any other party’s
use and satisfaction of any Service whatsoever.
If
Pangea Foundation believes that unacceptable or unauthorized
use is being made of any of the Pangea Foundation
Services, Pangea Foundation may, without notice,
take such action as Pangea Foundation, in its sole
discretion, determines to be appropriate, including
blocking messages from a particular Internet domain,
mail server or IP address. Pangea Foundation may
immediately terminate any account on any Service
which it determines, in its sole discretion, is transmitting
or is otherwise connected with any email that violates
this Anti-Spam policy. Unauthorized use of
the Services in connection with the transmission
of unsolicited email, including the transmission
of email in violation of this policy, may result
in civil, criminal, or administrative penalties against
the sender and those assisting the sender.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to grant any
right to transmit or send email to, or through, the
Pangea Foundation Services. Failure to enforce this
policy in every instance does not amount to a waiver
of Pangea Foundation’s rights.
